Malibu Engagement Photos // Jennifer + Roman

Have you ever met a couple that was like, really in love? I mean, realllllyyyyy in love. Now, my job as a photographer is to capture the love of a bride and a groom, of brothers and sisters, of first-time parents and their newborn babe. I am surrounded by love all day, every day. But this Malibu engagement photo session was on point with the love! Even when I work with clients that are super comfortable on camera, I usually have to give a bit of direction. Why don't you try this? Just act natural. Play with your kids like you would if I were not here with my big camera. You get the point. But I rarely had to do this with Jennifer and Roman. They never took their eyes off one another. They were totally in sync. And, I hope you can see that in these Malibu engagement photos. Have you been to Malibu? As much as I long for a home state that boasts four seasons....I have to pinch myself every time I get to shoot in Malibu. For obvious reasons! Known for its 32 miles of fabled, celebrity-laden beach front, Malibu is a town like none other. Just a short walk off of the beach you can find hills, canyons, greenery, wildflowers and perfect light coming through the trees. Throw in a couple madly in love and what do you get? Beautiful photographs that I hope Jennifer and Roman will cherish for years to come.

And, you've probably already guessed that the love fest that took place on their wedding day was pretty similar to the love you'll see in their smiles and eyes in these Malibu engagement photos.
